Job Title: Buyer

Pay Rate: $25-$26/hour

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected non-profit organization seeking an experienced Buyer to support their procurement team during a period of increased workload . This temporary, full-time, on-site position is based in Chatsworth, CA , and is ideal for a skilled buyer with experience managing high-volume, large-spend purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase orders from start to finish
• Work with vendors and internal departments to meet purchasing needs
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
• Track deliveries and handle returns or order issues
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Resolve invoice or delivery discrepancies

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of purchasing or buying experience in a high-volume, large-spend environment
• HS Diploma required, AA or Bachelors Degree highly preferred
• Prior experience in the non-profit sector is preferred but not required
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in internet-based research and procurement systems
