Now Hiring: Remote Bookkeeper (BBSI Client Placement)
Location: Fully Remote (Occasional in-person meetings – Candidates must be local to Medford, Oregon)
Schedule: Flexible hours
About the Role:
BBSI is partnering with a growing client to find a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper . This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be located in the Medford, Oregon area due to occasional in-person meetings and local representation needs. The ideal candidate must be highly accountable and able to manage their time and responsibilities independently. If you're not someone who needs to be micromanaged and thrive in a flexible, remote-friendly work environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately classify and record bank transactions
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Provide basic payroll support as needed
Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
Communicate with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
Assist with cleanup projects and general bookkeeping tasks
Perform light administrative duties
Participate in monthly team meetings
Occasionally represent the company at social or professional events
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
Familiarity with Excel, Word, and email platforms
Strong organizational and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to manage time and tasks without direct supervision
