Job Overview
We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Full-Time Truck Dispatcher to join our located delivery division to perform a variety of duties. The ideal candidate for this position must be a self-starter who shows initiative, has a friendly personality, and possesses the ability to develop good working relationships with our customers and other internal departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of bulk sand and rock materials
• Inputting delivery orders into system
• Review orders to identify priority for deliveries
• Arranging schedules for drivers
• Assigning vehicles, driver routes, destinations, and timelines
• Dispatching drivers in a systematic order to ensure there is no overlapping or backtracking of routes
• Communicate effectively with drivers via radio and phone systems to provide instructions and updates
• Coordinate with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery
• Maintain accurate logs of dispatch activities
• Utilize transportation management software to optimize deliveries
• Provide assistance to customers or direct them to the appropriate person/department for additional assistance
• Completes departmental reporting as needed

Experience

• Proven experience in dispatching or logistics coordination is preferred
• Position requires exceptional customer service
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
• Motivated self-starter
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to learn and adapt to new technologies and ways of working
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Dispatch Experience Preferred
• Bilingual

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 4am – 1:00pm
• Alternating Saturdays 5am - 12:00pm
