Job Description
Are you a skilled and dedicated Title I Teacher seeking an exciting career opportunity? Birch Agency is hiring passionate professionals like you to make a positive impact on the lives of students. This is an on-site full-time contract position for a Title I Teacher with s tarting pay at 40 dollars an hour and up (based on experience) in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver lesson plans with differentiated instruction to meet each student's individual needs
Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
Skills
Proven experience as a Title I Teacher
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Cool-tempered, friendly, reliable, and adaptable
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education (or related field)
Valid state (OH) teaching certification/license in appropriate content area
Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations
