Role Overview:
The ServiceNow platform team is seeking four experienced ServiceNow Developers to help accelerate delivery and reduce a significant backlog of high-priority work. This contingent role requires developers who can quickly integrate into the team and make immediate contributions. The developers will play a key role in supporting platform modernization initiatives, enhancing production stability, and advancing compliance automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with platform engineers to resolve backlog items prioritized as critical or high-impact.
Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within the ServiceNow platform, including:
Workflows and automation.
Systems integrations.
Evidence captures and compliance mechanisms.
Contribute to backlog burn-down by delivering high-quality solutions that improve production stability and reduce manual effort.
Support ongoing platform modernization initiatives aligned to strategic priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical input, and ensure smooth implementation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance of delivered solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in building and deploying solutions on the platform.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or GRC (depending on backlog needs).
Strong skills in workflow automation, scripting (JavaScript, Glide), and integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs).
Familiarity with compliance automation and evidence capture solutions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment and quickly adapt to priorities.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications.
Experience in platform modernization and optimization projects.
Background working in regulated environments with governance and compliance requirements.
