A rewarding opportunity is available for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support the health and well-being of students in an elementary school setting. This contract position spans the current school year and offers a dynamic environment focused on providing essential healthcare services to young learners.

Location: Puyallup, WADuration: Contract position for the current school year
Setting: Elementary School

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans
• Manage and document student health records accurately and confidentially
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as necessary
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment through education and health monitoring

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Experience working in pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and documentation standards in educational settings
