Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Middle School Setting (1:1 Level)

Location: Derry, NH
Position Type: Contract School Year plus Summer Coverage

This opportunity seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide specialized 1:1 nursing care for two middle school students. The role combines school year responsibilities with summer coverage, ensuring consistent health support tailored to the students' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to two students in a middle school environment, addressing individual health plans and emergency needs.
• Monitor and document students health status throughout the school day.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
• Maintain confidential health records according to policies and regulations.
• Provide coverage during the school year (Monday to Friday) and for four weeks in summer (July 7 - July 28, Monday through Thursday).

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or LVN license.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
• Ability to provide 1:1 nursing care with attention to detail and compassion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of school healthcare protocols and emergency procedures.

Schedule:

• School Year: Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM.
• Summer: Monday through Thursday, 4 hours per day (exact hours to be confirmed).
