This opportunity is ideal for an LPN/LVN with experience in pediatric or school nursing who is looking to provide essential healthcare services within an elementary school environment. The role involves collaborating with school staff to promote student health, manage chronic conditions, and respond to acute medical needs during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health screenings and assessments of students as needed
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with prescribed protocols
• Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
• Monitor and document student health status and communicate with parents and healthcare providers when necessary
• Provide health education to students and staff to promote wellness and disease prevention
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide first aid or supportive care
• Ensure compliance with state and school health policies and regulations

Desired Qualifications:

• Current LPN or LVN licensure in good standing
• Experience working with children in a healthcare or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of common pediatric health issues and medication administration procedures
