What you will be doing

As the Program Director at Alpha, you'll be at the forefront of educational innovation. Your role will be multifaceted and impactful:

• Architect of Excellence: Develop and implement a world-class training program for our Guides, ensuring they embody the Alpha learning system with unparalleled proficiency.
• Master Strategist: Craft comprehensive Guide Playbooks that serve as the blueprint for exceptional facilitation, engaging learning activities, and effective problem-solving techniques.
• Performance Catalyst: Provide regular, insightful feedback to Guides, igniting their potential to maximize student engagement and achievement.
• Inspirational Mentor: Take a hands-on approach by personally coaching a select group of students, showcasing best practices in motivation and guidance.

What you will NOT be doing

Key Responsibilities

As the Program Director, your primary responsibility is to cultivate and lead a team of exceptional Guides who will bring the Alpha system to life with unparalleled excellence. This involves:

• Designing and implementing cutting-edge training programs that equip Guides with the skills to facilitate transformative learning experiences
• Continuously refining and optimizing the Alpha learning system based on performance data and emerging educational research
• Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement among your team
• Ensuring consistent, high-quality implementation of the Alpha system across all learning environments
• Serving as a bridge between Alpha's vision and its practical application in the classroom

Candidate Requirements

To thrive as a Program Director at Alpha, you'll need to bring a unique blend of skills, experience, and passion. Here's what we're looking for:

• Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in any field, demonstrating your academic versatility
• Proven Track Record: At least 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a related field
• Innovative Mindset: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing groundbreaking educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives
• Leadership Excellence: Strong ability to build, manage, and inspire high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship and motivation
• Youth Development Expertise: Significant experience working with young people aged 5-18 in educational or developmental settings
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in analyzing data and leveraging metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Commitment to Our Mission: Willingness to work on-site in one of our specified locations, fully embracing the Alpha approach
• Legal Authorization: Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
