Now Hiring General Production Worker in Red Lion, PA!

3rd Shift Opportunity!

Pay Range: $18.35-$19.35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production workers for our 3rd shift at our main facility. You will be responsible for using hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble components of flooring and drop ceiling products. While most lifting is done as a team, you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35 lbs independently several times per shift. Opportunities for machinery training will be available upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the assigned department.
• Position parts and monitor equipment operations to produce products at established production standards.
• Perform minor setups, including changing plate sizes and setting up various sized tubes and studs.
• Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards, and notify appropriate personnel of any issues.
• Accurately complete production reporting and quality paperwork as required.
• Utilize banding equipment and hand-jacks for proper movement or storage of products or materials.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to established safety procedures.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
• Maintain awareness of individual contributions to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities.
• Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to interface with a diverse workforce.
• Capability to lift up to 45 lbs repetitively for an 8-hour shift.
• Proficiency in using tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
• Dexterity to use hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, or parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous.

Work Environment

Our Annex is a very clean and modern facility, albeit loud, with about 15 employees working at a time. The main building is an older and larger facility, also loud, with 40-60 employees per shift. Dress code requires long pants, short sleeves (no sleeveless), and steel toe shoes with metatarsal guards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $19.35/hr.
