Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA) - Interventional Radiology (Outpatient Venous Procedures) Location: Long Island, NY (Hempstead & Riverhead) Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunity Compensation: $100 - $150 per hour About the Opportunity: We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established healthcare facility in Long Island, seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) with expertise in venous interventions and minimally invasive vein procedures . This role is based in a specialized outpatient vein clinic that provides advanced care for patients requiring vascular treatments. This position will cover two outpatient locations in Hempstead and Riverhead , offering a competitive hourly rate of $100 - $150 . The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in image-guided venous procedures, managing patient care, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Position Highlights: Outpatient Setting: Focus exclusively on venous interventions and minimally invasive vein procedures - no inpatient care or hospital rounds required. Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists and referring physicians to provide comprehensive vein care. Perform a wide range of image-guided vascular procedures in a modern, well-equipped outpatient setting. Part-time position with potential for full-time transition . Key Responsibilities: Assist in performing minimally invasive venous interventions , including treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, and other vascular conditions. Conduct comprehensive pre-procedure assessments , patient education, and detailed post-procedure follow-up to ensure optimal outcomes. Monitor patients during and after procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective recovery. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with outpatient clinic and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interventional radiologists, referring providers, and outpatient clinical staff to develop and implement customized patient treatment plans. Candidate Requirements: Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of New York. Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology , venous procedures , or a related vascular specialty. Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage outpatient procedures independently. Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient setting. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $100 - $150 per hour .
