About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Pest Control Technician with a valid termite certification to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pest management services, including termite inspections and treatments, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining equipment, and documenting work accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pest inspections and treatments in residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Specialize in termite detection and treatment using approved methods and equipment.
  • Implement integrated pest management (IPM) techniques to minimize pesticide use.
  • Communicate with clients to explain services, inspection findings, and treatment options.
  • Provide preventive recommendations to customers to mitigate future pest issues.
  • Address customer concerns and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing pest control and termite treatments.
  • Handle chemicals and equipment safely, ensuring the safety of clients and the environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of pesticide usage and service activities.
  • Inspect, maintain, and calibrate pest control equipment and tools.
  • Ensure company vehicles and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Complete detailed reports of inspections, treatments, and customer interactions.
  • Maintain proper documentation for regulatory compliance and internal record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Valid Pest Control Technician license (state-specific as required).
  • Termite Control Certification or License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or courses in pest management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pest control, with a focus on termite services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pest biology and behavior, especially termites.
  • Proficiency in using pest detection equipment and treatment tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces and attics.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Pay range and compensation package

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
