We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Enrolled Agent or CTEC to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tax preparation and financial analysis, with the ability to provide expert guidance to clients on their tax-related matters. As an Enrolled Agent, you will represent clients before the IRS and ensure compliance with federal tax regulations while delivering exceptional service.

Duties

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Represent clients in audits and other proceedings before the IRS.
• Analyze financial information to identify potential deductions and credits.
• Provide tax planning advice to help clients minimize their tax liabilities.
• Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax preparation.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management.
• Assist with payroll processing for clients and related inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Enrolled Agent or a CTEC with valid credentials.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in financial accounting, including account analysis and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
