Fashion Design Intern

We’re looking for a highly creative Fashion Design Intern to help us forge ahead with innovative designs and contributions to our product lines at MY OUTFIT ONLINE, a leading premium ready-to-wear brand known for everyday wear, loungewear, and a top-tier visual experience.

If you possess 1-2 years of expertise in fashion design and have a passion for creating exceptional products, this opportunity is for you. Ideally, you're a recent graduate or actively pursuing a career in fashion design or a related field. You’ll work closely with our Brand Director, Head of Product Design, and Technical Designer.

This is a M-F, in-person role commuting to Doral, FL 33172.

Key Responsibilities

Design Assistance, Execution & Brand's DNA.

• Assist in the creation of garment designs using both traditional sketching and digital design tools.
• Stay proactive in identifying fashion trends and design opportunities that align with the brand’s identity.
• Ensure all designs align with our brand’s aesthetics and DNA maintaining a consistent and high-quality look and feel.

Research

• Regularly research and explore ideas on platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, & Youtube to keep our product line innovative and ahead of trends. Embrace an adaptable and open-minded attitude to consistently integrate fresh, yet brand-aligned, concepts into our designs, ensuring they enhance our already robust brand DNA while staying true to our core vision.

Pattern Making & Sampling

• Help develop patterns and work with the production team to create samples.
• Adjust designs based on fit, movement, and fabric behavior to ensure the final product meets quality standards.

On-Site & Team Collaboration

• Be an energetic and supportive presence at fitting sessions, assisting the team in refining garment construction.
• Collaborate with the Design and Creative teams to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for design execution.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably within fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
• Understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and fashion cycle.
• Experience with digital design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD software for fashion design.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in sketching and translating design ideas into tangible items.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and garment quality.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, design principles, and consumer preferences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to contribute new ideas.

Compensation

$17/h ; 30-40 hours a week.
