About the Role:

The Outset is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Strategy Coordinator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Sr Director of E-Commerce & Growth, this role will support the day-to-day management and growth of our direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel and play a key part in executing 360 digital marketing strategies to drive performance and brand awareness.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, strong project management skills, and an analytical mindset. This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to improve site performance, manage paid media and affiliate programs, and execute strategic marketing campaigns that align with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

E-Commerce & Site Management

  • Support the management of our DTC channel, theoutset.com, ensuring a seamless customer experience and consistent brand representation.
  • Work closely with our external development agency to identify and implement site improvements that drive conversion and customer engagement.
  • Monitor site performance and user behavior, making recommendations for optimization based on data and customer feedback.
  • Manage product launches and merchandising updates on the site in alignment with marketing and creative teams.

Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of 360 digital marketing strategies to drive DTC growth and support brand campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brief and develop content tailored for paid media, CRM, and affiliate channels.
  • Manage performance analysis across key digital marketing channels, including Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Oversee UGC affiliate programs, working with partners to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Work closely with the paid media agency to optimize campaigns, test new strategies, and improve ROI.
  • Partner with the CRM team to develop targeted email and SMS strategies that drive customer retention and lifetime value.

Project Management

  • Act as a central point of contact across teams (creative, marketing, ecommerce, wholesale, and operations) to align on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Serve as the key liaison between creative, marketing, and the paid media agency to ensure smooth facilitation of creative development, feedback, and approvals.
  • Manage the execution of key brand and DTC initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain project trackers to keep teams aligned and projects moving forward efficiently.
  • Anticipate and resolve potential roadblocks to keep projects on track.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed, as in product orders, mailings and office organization

Who You Are:

  • 1–2 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field (internship experience included).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (paid media, CRM, affiliate) and ecommerce best practices.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with Shopify, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for skincare and beauty is a plus!
