Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Associate Buyer, 4-6 Months Contract role for one of our Fortune 500 clients, 100% Remote. Apply today for immediate consideration.

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 4+ months, with possible extension (20 hours per week)

Pay rate: $18.00 - 20.00/hr on w2

JOB SUMMARY:

General Functions:

• Assist with executing order placement to support a pilot for the platform.
• This person will be responsible for taking order proposals from our replenishment system and executing them within a vendor portal while ensuring orders are placed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work with team members from DP&R, Delivery, DMaaS, and Analytics.
• Will need to be very organized and detail oriented to ensure accurate execution of all order placement.
• This role will communicate directly with vendors, so strong written and verbal communication skills will be necessary to execute the requirements of the position.
• Accurately place orders for product to support the platform
• Escalate any vendor related issues with a sense of urgency
• Execute workflows that ensure we exceed customer expectations Identify trends & communicate findings to the broader teams to improve our processes

Required Experience:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of work experience
• You have 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced buying role in technology, hospitality or grocery & convenience
• Comfortable with Google Sheets, Familiarity with G-Suite, Slack Previous experience in grocery & convenience
