Summary: The Blair College of Health at Queens University of Charlotte invites applications for in-person adjunct (part-time) faculty positions in Exercise and Sport Science, beginning August 2025, for the 2025-2026 academic year.

We seek an energetic faculty member who will contribute to the student experience and the mission of the department and college. The growing Exercise and Sport Science curriculum includes robust internship opportunities and satisfies the necessary prerequisites for most physical therapy and occupational therapy graduate programs. The position reports to the Chair of the Health and Human Performance Department.

This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required :

  • A minimum of a master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science or a related field.
  • Teaching experience (classroom or online) at the university level in one or more of the following areas:
    1. Foundations of Exercise and Sport Science
    2. Motor Behavior
    3. Exercise and Sport Physiology Lecture and Lab
    4. Principles of Strength and Conditioning Lecture and Lab
    5. Nutrition for Exercise and Sport
    6. Biomechanics
    7. Senior Seminar in Exercise and Sport Science
  • Preference will go to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
  • Commitment to cultivating learning environments that foster a sense of belonging for all students.
